The Unit is made up of five anesthesiology professionals: the doctors Sabina Córdoba and Liliana Fernández, and the doctors Nelva Soriano, and Manuel Corral, under the coordination, since last January, of Dr. Jordi Moya.
The unit of pain passes consultation every day of the week and has assigned six operating theaters per month to perform procedures (blocks and radiofrequency techniques). In addition, it treats patients admitted to the plants and also patients who come to the Emergency Department. The great majority of the pains are related to the spine (low back pain, ciatalgia, neck pain, dorsalgia, coccydynia, vertebral crushing, herniated discs, etc.)
