Mahón, 01 October 2020
The Teatre Principal de Maó will host next Saturday, October 3, from 7:00 p.m., a new edition of the Gran Gala Sine Dolore. This year's show is presented under the heading "Music and dance to look forward" with the musical direction, for the first time, by the soprano María Camps.
The pianist Marlén Coll has been responsible for directing the Gran Gala Sine Dolore for more than 15 years and last year she decided to put an end to this stage of her life, passing the baton to María Camps, who has been participating in said event. for a long time.
On this occasion we will be able to enjoy the performances of local musicians such as The Gentlemen Jacks, Gibert Pons & Gerard Carrillos, Andrea Díaz & Joan Taltavull and Anabel Villalonga & María Camps.
The presentation will be given by Jordi Odrí and on the magnificent stage of the Teatre Principal de Maó various dance shows will be performed and different musical styles will be heard: blues, jazz, contemporary music, "bossa nova", etc.
The ticket-invitation is free and numbered (to guarantee security as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic) and all those interested in enjoying the evening must pick it up at the Teatre box office.
COVID-19 has inflicted great physical pain on patients, who have required powerful analgesics, and great psychological pain on their family and friends. Because of that, this year's Gala makes more sense than ever and Sine Dolore dedicates it with greater emphasis than ever.
