The tireless work of promoting the Sine Dolore World Park has been intensified in recent days by the president of Sine Dolore European Pain Foundation, Dr. Jordi Moya, and the president of the Spanish Association of Patients Against Pain, Gemma Fernández .
Dr. Jordi Moya attends from yesterday and until tomorrow, Saturday, the "International Congress of the Social Impact of Pain: from knowledge to practice", which takes place in the Azores Islands and is organized by the Association of Chronic Pain Patients of the Azores (on the occasion of its thirteenth anniversary) under the auspices of the Portuguese MEP Sofia Ribeiro and the Associação de Doentes of Dor Chronónica dos Açores, with the sponsorship of Sine Dolore European Pain Foundation, Pain Alliance Europe, Active Citizenship Network, Fondazione ISAL , Associação Portuguesa Para o Estudo da Dor, Ordem dos Enfermeiros Açores and Ponta Delgada Municipal Chamber.
Moya participates in this event with the aim of promoting the Sine Dolore World Park, with an eye on the fifth edition of the park that will be held in May of next year.
For her part, Gemma Fernández participated in London on Sunday and Monday at the EU Advisory Board Chronic Pain Focus Group, a work day featuring patients suffering from chronic back pain in which they expose personal experiences from their particular point of view . The Pfizer and Lilly laboratories organized this event and the president of the Spanish Association of Patients against Pain, Gemma Fernández, took advantage of her interventions to present the Sine Dolore World Park, the only theme park in the world against pain, among the attendees. for the quality of life.
In addition, the next day Gemma Fernández traveled to Madrid to attend the II National Meeting of Patient Associations organized by the Spanish Patients Forum (FEP) with the collaboration of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare.
According to the FEP, "the priorities of the patients in Spain, the training needs of the associations and the State Health Pact have been several of the issues around which the program of the II Encuentro has revolved to give voice to the movement associative of our country ".
During the event, Gemma Fernández invited the representatives of the patient associations to visit the V Sine Dolore World Park that will be held in May 2019.
